The misson of criAHEC is to respond to central Rhode Island's unmet health care and health workforce needs, emphasizing primary and preventive care and the elimination of health disparities.

In response to our mission and philosophy, criAHEC's strategies will include:

The recruitment of future health professionals through work with students of all ages to ignite an interest in the sciences and to provide volunteer, mentoring and career training opportunities The development and support of community-based interdisciplinary clinical education opportunities for health professional students The provision of continuing education training and other services to assist health professionals in improving the quality of care provided to residents of central Rhode Island
